Prisons should be a place for prisoners to receive rehabilitation and prepare for re-entry into society. Senator Lego will demand funding for rehabilitation programs, ending the criminal feedback loop and protecting the American people.
The federal government must lead the effort to increase oversight over our police forces, and ensure all law enforcement officers receive adequate training to truly protect and serve.
The right to freedom of speech shall not be infringed. Senator Lego will explore measures to ensure Americans' First Amendment rights are protected, both in person and on the internet.
A vote for Lego shall mean a vote for Second Amendment rights. It is necessary that the people are able to protect themselves, with restrictions limited and fully government-funded.
No law enforcement agency may seize private property without lawful cause. Senator Lego shall end all federal loopholes to unethically seize items without a warrant.
The Tenth Amendment shall be upheld. States must be granted the rights not granted to the federal government, and any loopholes to the Tenth Amendment must be abolished.
Kirk Lego supports the establishment of a public health insurance option, allowing for affordable healthcare for the American people while allowing the option to use private insurance.
